I updated the software for the MMI system to version 4610. I followed TSB 2019334/2. I was able to restore "seat position memory via key" (07- Display> Adaptation Channel 1> old value was 5402, added up all options and got value of 5434, used that value and it worked). I restored the Instrument Cluster menu item in CAR Menu (TSB 2020250).
As morski says, you can activate the interior lighting menu via VCDS & MMI hidden menu - see the VCDS tricks thread. This will allow you to adjust the brightness of the footwell lights while driving. The reason my MMI didn't retact was because of the nylon string snap, there's two sting one for opening and the other for closing. I was able to use a 12 volt power to move the motor in the open and close position. I plan to create a test bed when i have time to try and fix the AUDI mmi using replacement nylon when i have more free time.
Fuses are in the luggage compartment fuse box, centre row. Pull fuse 3 'Radio/navigation' fuse (7.5amps), fuse 'Control unit for digital sound system' (30amps) and fuse 5 'MMI' (5 amps). Clearly a software glitch that couldn't be sorted by rebooting the MMI but a power down reboot did the trick. NOTE: This worked for B&O 2G nav MMI can't say it
